Frequently asked questions
💄 Semi-Permanent Makeup (SPMU)
Q: What is SPMU?
A: Semi-Permanent Makeup (SPMU) is a cosmetic tattooing technique that enhances your natural features by implanting pigment into the skin. Popular treatments include brows (Nano, Microblading, Powder), eyeliner, and lip blush.
Q: How long does it last?
A: Results typically last 12–24 months, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. A colour boost is recommended every 12–18 months to keep your look fresh.
Q: Does it hurt?
A: Most clients describe the sensation as mild. A numbing cream is applied before and during treatment to keep you comfortable.
Q: What’s the healing process like?
A: Your brows/lips/liner may appear darker at first. They will lighten as they heal over 7–14 days. You may experience mild flaking — this is normal.
Q: How do I prepare for my appointment?
A: Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood-thinning medication 24 hours before your appointment. Arrive with no makeup in the treatment area.
Q: Who is not suitable for SPMU?
A: SPMU is not recommended if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have uncontrolled diabetes, are on blood thinners, or have certain skin conditions. Always inform us of any medical conditions before booking.
🖤 Laser Tattoo Removal
Q: How does laser tattoo removal work?
A: Our advanced laser targets the pigment in your tattoo, breaking it into tiny particles that your body naturally removes over time.
Q: How many sessions will I need?
A: Most tattoos require 6–12 sessions spaced 6–8 weeks apart. The exact number depends on the size, age, colour, and depth of your tattoo.
Q: Is it painful?
A: Discomfort is similar to a quick snap of an elastic band. We use cooling methods to make the process as comfortable as possible.
Q: Will it completely remove my tattoo?
A: Many tattoos can be fully removed, but results depend on ink colours and skin type. Black ink responds best; bright colours may require additional sessions or may fade rather than disappear completely.
Q: How do I care for my skin after treatment?
A: Keep the area clean and dry, avoid sun exposure, and follow the aftercare instructions we provide. Do not pick at scabs or blisters.
Q: Are there risks?
A: When performed by a trained professional, laser tattoo removal is safe. Temporary redness, swelling, or blistering can occur but usually heal within a few days.
